Asthma

Asthma is a common long term inflammatory disease of the airways of the lungs. Asthma include episodes of wheezing, coughing, chest tightness and shortness of breath. These symptoms may occur a few times a day or a few times per week. Depending on the person they may become worse at night or with exertion. The symptoms of asthma can range from mild to severe. Most people will only experience occasional symptoms, although a few people will have problems most of the time.
